So we go across Australia (Sydney) conducting paranormal research right? but what exactly are ghosts and to they really exist?
The truth is, no one knows if ghosts really do exist. There is no 100% proof of them existing or not existing. But the problem these days is that technology means that experts will always debate any 'proof'.
So what are ghosts? Well, there are many different types of ghosts and they can be classified on how developed they are and what they do. Here are the common types of ghosts:-
Poltergiests- The word poltergiest is german for 'noisy spirit' .Their aim is to cause disturbances by moving things and making noises. Generally, they arent there to cause hard to people. One of the most famous cases of poltergiest activity is that of the Enfield case in England in the 1970's.
Recordings/repeats- This type of ghost can not interact with anyone. It is believed that some brick work (found in castles etc) can record events in history and under the right circumstances they can replay them.
Landers and grounders- This type of ghost can interact with you. But they tend to be stuck in one location or in one room of a building.
Wanderers- This type of ghost is one that can be found in one location. For example, the ghost of Henry VIII has been reported in Southsea castle, Hampton court and several other locations in England.
Orbs- These are small balls of light which can rarely be seen by the naked eye. But they can be seen on tape or in a photo (assuming its not dust or an insect etc). They are commonly white but can also appear as other colours. This is the first and llast stages of a ghost manifestation
Shadow- Some ghost that have not yet learnt to fully manifest can appear as a dark shadow.
The type of ghosts are exhaustive and this is just a selection of the more common ones.
